Broken: Six Encounters with the God Who Mends
Description
This is a PDF digital guide. You will be sent a link with the guide in your purchase confirmation.
This six-week study guide will take you through the stories of five women found in the Old and New Testaments—Tamar, Rahab, Ruth, Bathsheba, and Mary—each story a significant part of the genealogy of Jesus Christ. Each week as you study the lives of these women, you’ll uncover their brokenness and how the Lord mended and redeemed their lives.
The last week of the study will help you reveal your own beautiful, unique story of brokenness and redemption.
If you’ve ever felt broken, forgotten, overwhelmed, outcast, fearful, or forsaken, this guide is for you. When the world feels heavy and it seems like we could be swallowed whole at any minute, we need to be reminded of the faithfulness and compassion of the Lord, who is always present to heal and mend our lives and our hearts.
For this guide, we have partnered with the brilliant visual artist Kathleen Peterson. Her one-of-a-kind, emotional imagery is highlighted throughout each week, drawing you further into the stories and inviting deeper reflection and transformation.
This study guide also includes the talks given by Lisa Valentine Clark and the late Christopher Clark at our Jubilee Gathering in 2019.
A portion of all study guide sales will be given to the Rocky Mountain ALS Association in memory of Christopher Clark.
